We’re proud to share that Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) has been named a finalist in the Best Leadership Development Program category at both the 2025 AHRI Awards and the 2025 Australian HR Awards.

These shortlistings recognise the strength and impact of BCE’s leadership development approach, and the commitment to building capability across a large and complex education system.

As BCE’s leadership and culture partner, Maximus supported the development and articulation of the submission, showcasing the design and delivery of a leadership development program spanning 146 schools, 12,000 staff, and 78,000 students across Queensland.

Over the past three years, we’ve worked alongside BCE to co-design and activate leadership at scale, not as a standalone initiative, but as an embedded, system-wide approach to strengthening leadership capability across the organisation.

This dual finalist recognition reflects BCE’s long-term commitment to investing in its people, supporting educators at every level, and building school communities where leadership, learning and care are lived every day.

It also highlights the importance of leadership being developed not in isolation, but as a core enabler of culture, capability and performance across a large education system.

Maximus congratulates BCE on this recognition and looks forward to continuing the partnership as the leadership development journey evolves.
